Located in Rocky Point, North Carolina, Bayshore Equestrian is a welcoming hunter/jumper barn offering boarding, training, and lessons for riders of all ages and experience levels. Our program focuses on developing confident, capable riders and happy, athletic horses through a supportive and fun environment.
We specialize in training young hunter/jumper prospects, providing quality lessons on well-schooled lesson horses, and offering offsite lessons, coaching at shows, and a competitive IEA team. About Taylor Cavezza
Taylor’s love for horses began at a very young age. Growing up in Monroe Township, NJ, she started riding and taking lessons at just 4 years old. Her passion continued to grow after moving to Vanceboro, NC, where she trained with Caroline Jackson at Cottonwood Farm, competing successfully on the AQHA circuit throughout her youth and representing East Carolina University on their IHSA team.
After earning dual Associate Degrees in Equine Business and Equine Training from Martin Community College, Taylor began her professional career at Breakwater Farm in Hampstead, NC, where she worked as a barn manager and assistant trainer/instructor. There, she gained extensive experience in barn management, traveling to shows, and training riders from beginners to seasoned competitors across multiple disciplines—including hunter/jumper, dressage, and AQHA/NSBA events.
Today, Taylor brings that same dedication and experience to Bayshore Equestrian, where she oversees daily horse care, develops young prospects, and teaches riders of all ages. Her students and horses have achieved top honors at AQHA Congress and World Shows, NSBA Championships, and NCHJA year-end awards. Taylor takes pride in creating a welcoming, family-friendly barn environment where both horses and riders can learn, laugh, and grow.
